Downtown LA
Book your elevator 2-3 weeks ahead. Most buildings allow moves 8AM-5PM weekdays only. We know the loading dock procedures for most DTLA high-rises.
Large trucks need city permits—apply 2 weeks early. Wilshire and Sunset get gridlocked by 8AM, so early morning arrivals work best here.
View Beverly Hills moving info →Steep, winding roads with tight turns. We often use smaller trucks with larger crews to handle the terrain. Many driveways require hand-carrying.
View Hollywood Hills moving info →Big Blue Bus parking enforcement is aggressive. Near the beach, check for walk-street restrictions—some blocks are pedestrian-only with no truck access.

Over 50 public staircases connect hillside homes. Some properties are only reachable by stairs. We stage from street level and hand-carry when needed.
Venice
Walk Streets (between Lincoln & Shell) are pedestrian-only. Dell Avenue is the only canal-side street open to vehicles. We plan truck staging on nearby streets.

Here's How It Works
Many LA neighborhoods require temporary no-parking permits for moving trucks. LADOT handles these permits through their Special Traffic Control Division. Here's what you need to know:
Permit Quick Facts:
- Cost: Approximately $51 per permit
- Lead time: Apply 5-10 business days before your move
- Signs must be posted before your scheduled time
